Turned On: Brand Launch 2018/19

The night begun with socialising at the Venue, as we waited for the top bar to fill up with designers and creatives from all year groups; as well as friends from other departments across campus including the Made in Brunel team.

Our photobooth was in action all night and the pizzas went down a treat. This was when the half-hour countdown started! At half 7, our video and soundtrack came alive, revealing the new disruptive brand to all. Once the video was finished, our directors made a speech thanking all involved and letting the university know that we will be back with more exciting events throughout the year.

This year, we are Turned On. Digital Media is the marriage of human warmth, cheekiness, creativity and cold, brutalist technology. The phrase and our accompanying visual identity reflects this. Are you On board? You better be.

For a first ever brand launch on a shoestring budget, I think we nailed it.
